TOGETHER
We Make a Difference

Democracy was formed with the idea of government for the people and by the people.
With this in mind, I made the decision to run for U.S. Congress representing the 14th District.
During my life, I've managed student debt, paid a large mortgage, faced infertility, then became a stay-at-home parent then a working parent. I've battled breast cancer and the glass ceiling.
As I turn 55, I'm figuring out - like so many others of all ages - how to budget for increases in auto and home insurance, internet, healthcare, and groceries. It's these experiences that will make me a representative who puts local issues first.
Top priorities include
Transparency
I'm committed to finding innovative ways to connect with constituents and gather their input,
Restoring Democratic Norms
Under the current administration, the Constitution has been tested beyond expectation with devastating consequences. I will fight to codify 'norms and traditions'. These polite rules used to effectively govern Presidential conduct but these are not Law. We need to fix this.
I will also join the other leaders in Congress in holding the Enablers accountable for their actions - more accurately, their inaction.
Environmental Protection
Promoting the safe building of AI data centers in our District, namely Hayward. We need to grow the economy and create jobs but not at the expense of our already strapped water supply and air quality.
Election Integrity
In 2019, I wrote my Master's Thesis on the influence of state-level Secretaries of State in the administration of fair elections. I will fight for equal participation of all voters. We don't have a democracy without this.
